We’ve recently posted three new jobs on the RiverKey Creative jobs page. We’re looking for an associate producer in our video production department, a Flex programmer in our interactive department, and a senior-level animator for our animation department. The RKC Apple Orchard is now open!

As a fresh start to 2012, RKC has opened up their new apple orchard much to the chagrin of the RiverKey PC supporters. It’s been said that there is no difference between the Mac and PC operating systems but there is a reason why an APPLE a day, keeps the doctor away. It’s just plain better for you!

PHP/Actionscript/ Developer Needed

We’re looking for someone with fluency in PHP/mySQL and to a lesser degree Actionscript. Pay is comensurate with experience, so we’re open to programmers who can prove they have the skills regardless of where they’ve worked at or how many years they’ve been at their craft.

Why us? We have great clients, fun high profile projects, and allow for you to grow your skills at the same time in an open, casual work environment. No cube farms. No massive bureaucracy to get lost in. Undoubtedly, you’ve heard the “work hard; play hard” line. What if you just worked in a place where working hard and playing hard weren’t mutually exclusive? They can be the same thing. If you’re at the right place, then you know what I mean. If this is a foreign concept to you, then call us to see if you could be persuaded to come over to the bright side of life.

The Atlanta Hawks join in on the Interactive Games!

Sometimes it can be tough around the holiday season especially getting all the gifts for your little ones. So we teamed up with the Salvation Army this year to adopt a 4 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. We are so blessed to have been given the opportunity to make sure these two kiddos had an amazing Christmas filled with lots of toys. Thank you to the Salvation Army for putting together such a great program and getting the community involved.

Helping hands in the Community

RiverKey Creative teamed up with the Salvation Army to help get ready for their Thanksgiving dinner. Located a few blocks from our studio, RKC is ensuring we give back to the community and help others that are less fortunate and are in need of a little extra help this season. We encourage others to look into volunteering at The Salvation Army as they can never have too many helping hands! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

RKC Teams up with Kansas City Chiefs

It was a pleasure to meet Rob Alberino, the Kansas City Chiefs new Vice President of Media and Marketing. If you’ve followed RKC over the years, you’ve undoubtedly come to expect great things from the company. From awe-inspiring motion graphics to powerhouse player introductions, RKC never fails to deliver the goods! As they expand their offering of services (website design & development, audio production, and even Wii games), they’ve decided to bring some fresh new faces onboard to help out. So without further ado, let me introduce myself.

Hello world, my name is Ben Stock. I’m the designer behind the current iteration of the RKC website (and blog). I’m still in the process of getting everything working correctly, and I’m currently attempting to push all of RKC’s content onto the new server (and trust me, there’s a lot of content). I mention all of this because:

I’d like to know if anybody has any kind of accessibility issues.
I need a team of “bug catchers,” so if you spot a bug or something doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to, let me know.
I’m a fan of all forms of feedback (that didn’t sound like a corny alliteration in my head), so if you have any comments regarding the site’s design, I’d love to hear from you.

I’ll quit babbling now, but I’d just like to thank all of the cool people here at RiverKey Creative for giving me an opportunity to work with them. If you haven’t ever done business with these folks, I’d recommend getting in touch with them; they’re just plain awesome. Alright, I’m all done now. Is that how you end a blog post?

Estimation Pro is Onboard!

Estimation Pro turns to RKC to develop their brand and create an online presence for them. RKC created their logo and produced the necessary marketing materials so they could start their business. We created a complete interactive site with an e-commerce back end for customers to have the ability to buy their products. We shot viral videos for their interactive site. As a complete creative house we were able to produce the viral videos from concept to post production, all in-house. A simple CRM was important to the client. We created a custom CRM that was so simple, there were no worries that their audience who would purchase it would have problems with the end users not being able to use it. RKC is currently working on creating an iPhone Application.
